“Jackson Pollock: Blind Spots” at the Dallas Museum of Art — See It Before It’s Gone!

In case you missed it, there is currently a phenomenal exhibit underway at our very own Dallas Museum of Art. Its title: Jackson Pollock, Blind Spots. The temporary exhibit runs through March 20th, and you must see it before it’s gone! Here’s a twenty second long video sneak-peek!

Jackson Pollock was a mid-20th century modernist painter known for his “drip” style, through which he dripped and slung paint on his canvases to create incredible swirls and lines of color. His style was all his own and he made great contributions to the world of art before his untimely death at the age of 44. “Blind Spots” is the largest collection of Pollock’s black and white paintings ever put on exhibit anywhere.

The Dallas Museum of Art (DMA) is located at 1717 North Harwood Street, Dallas, TX 75201. While admission to the museum’s permanent galleries is free for all everyday, admission to the Jackson Pollock exhibit and other such special exhibits is as follows: Free for DMA members, Free for children 11 and under, $12 for students with valid ID, $14 for military personnel with valid ID, $14 for seniors (65 and up), and $16 for all others.
