Upcoming on February 13th – Second Saturday Shoreline Spruce-Up @ White Rock Lake!

Did any of your new year’s resolutions involve getting outdoors more, spending more time with your kids, volunteering, or being more environmentally conscious? If so, why not spend the morning of Saturday, February 13th taking part in For the Love of the Lake’s next clean-up event at White Rock Lake? Put it on your calendar now and you’ll have something to look forward to!

The event is called the Second Saturday Shoreline Spruce-Up, and – you guessed it – it takes place on the second Saturday of every month! This program has been running a long time, and it contributes a great deal to the beauty and up-keep of our own beautiful White Rock Lake.

There is no need to register in advance, although you are welcome to contact the For the Love of the Lake (FTLOTL) office with any questions you may have. Registration and free breakfast will take place from 8-9am at the FTLOTL office at 1152 N. Buckner Blvd. in Casa Linda Plaza, then the actual clean-up will run from 9 to 11am. All supplies are provided!

Who knows – you might just make a habit of it in 2016!
