Celebrate the Season with Casa Linda Lights – December 1 – 2, 2018
Attention, neighbors! Casa Linda Lights is celebrating the season Saturday, December 1st. Come join the fun and festivities for the day or for just some of it.
What: Casa Linda Lights Community Event
Where: 1501 Verano Dr, Dallas, TX 75218
When: Saturday – Sunday, December 1st & 2nd, 2018
The Casa Linda Lights is a neighborhood event that takes place each year. Luminaries line every street in the Casa Linda Estates for three important reasons:
- To celebrate the season
- To symbolize great thanks to our local first responders
- Raise funds for those in need
This year, Casa Linda Lights is raising funds for Guns & Hoses, a charity in North Texas that honors fallen firefighters and police officers by helping their family members who have been left behind. They are integrally linked to the first responder community and partner with us to provide funds for those who have been significantly impacted by injury or loss. Now, more than ever, we want to show great support and are excited about this partnership. We know our funds raised will provide crucial help to those who are always at the ready to help us.

The lights will be lit on *December 1st by teams of Casa Linda Estates residents. They will remain lit until Monday, Dec. 3rd.
Interested in helping? You can help implement this simple night of nostalgia and service by donating funds, volunteering to help with set up, and spreading the word to your family and friends! And definitely visit on the evenings of Dec. 1st & 2nd to drive through the neighborhood to see the lights!
Here is the schedule for the day:
7-9am: BREAKFAST & BATTERY INSTALLATION
(help with battery install on 8,000 lights)
9am-12pm: LUMINARY PLACEMENT
(Join your team captain and truck driver to start placing luminaries in your assigned area)
12:30pm: HOLIDAY PARTY!
Gather at the Boothe Residence, 1501 Verano Dr. for lunch, drinks, music, Santa (1-2pm) and cookie decorating!
6:00-8:00pm: HAY RIDES TO SEE THE LIGHTS
PLEASE VOLUNTEER!
There is a place for you no matter your ability or time constraints on Dec. 1!
