Fall’s finally here! The Texas Discovery Gardens are hosting the event every Dallas gardener should attend:

ABOUT THE EVENT:
Dallas has an abundance of local and unique plants. This fall’s plant sale features over 600 varieties of rare, native, and adapted pollinator-friendly plants.
For example:
Gregg’s Blue Mistflower is native to Texas and perfect for novice gardeners because of its low water needs. Mexican Bush Sage’s striking purple hue attracts pollinators and thrives in the hot Texas summer. From Milkweed to Texas Blue Star–and countless others–you’ll find beautiful, pollinator-friendly additions to your home garden.
ABOUT THE FALL PLANT SALE SAFARI:
The Plant Sale Safari on September 14 is perfect for gardeners who want a head start on September 15’s sale. Director of Horticulture Roger Sanderson will lead a pre-sale tour of the selection from 3-4PM. Come with plenty of questions and a notepad: Mr. Sanderson can show you how seamlessly to integrate native and adapted plants into your landscape.
With the enormous, beautiful selection on display, it’s easy to get overwhelmed. The safari is designed to direct you toward the best plants for your garden. When the gates open on September 15, you’ll know exactly what you’re looking for.
ABOUT THE MEMBERS’ SALE:
Members of the Texas Discovery Garden benefit from an early offering, and a discount! The Members’ Sale occurs September 14 from 4-7PM: it allows members to shop before the Saturday rush at a 10% discount.

ABOUT THE PUBLIC SALE (POLLINATOR PLANT SALE):
September 15th is the public sale, or main event, of the weekend. It runs from 10AM-2PM and showcases an array of pollinator-friendly plants and new additions. Most of the 600+ plants are perennials, able to attract beautiful pollinators and thrive in the Dallas climate.
Director of Horticulture Roger Sanderson notes that there are exciting newcomers to this year’s sale, including unique and rare plants native to the area. Among them: Silver Buffaloberry, Nodding Onion, Texas Bluebells, Scullcaps, Goldeneyes, and many more!
